The Vineyard
The winery, situated in the heart of Drôme Provençale, was founded in 1960 by local grape producers from the villages of Saint Pantaléon les Vignes and Rousset les Vignes. Today, it takes grapes from 180 farmers and, depending on the vintage, produces on average 40 000 Hecto Litres of AOC Côte de Rhône wines.
Sheltered by “La Lance” mountain, the vineyards benefit from an exceptional micro climate. Their terroir stretches across clay-limestone hillsides and sandy depressions. These excellent growing conditions resulted in Saint Pantaléon les Vignes and Rousset les Vignes being awarded the classification AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages in 1969.
The predominant use of the grape varieties Grenache and Syrah, give these exceptional wines a full bodied yet delicate flavour, slightly tannic, with an ability to age well.
We look forward to welcoming you to our warm and friendly tasting room to sample our full range of wines , available in variety of pack and gift set options. In addition to our bottled wines, we also offer a wide choice of blends available in the bulk ‘bag in box’ packs.
Enjoy the beauty of our vineyards by taking a walk on the sentier des terroirs. These two beautiful and educational nature trails wind through our vineyards. Each path is a 7 km loop that can be walked in about 3 hours. These trails could be a pleasant prelude to a family hike on one of the numerous trails that lead to the nearby Lance mountain.
